VoxPop Privacy Policy (Beta)
Last Updated: February 23, 2026
Welcome to the VoxPop beta. As part of the Citizenz of Earth project, this app is built on the foundation of secular humanism—prioritizing human dignity, agency, and the ethical use of technology. We believe your data belongs to you, not us.
1. Our Core Promise
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Our goal is to facilitate human connection, not to monetize your behavior.
2. Information We Collect
To make the app work, we collect the bare minimum:
Account Data: Your email address (managed securely via Supabase Auth) is used to identify you and allow you to log in.
Communication Data: The messages and content you share are stored so they can be delivered to your recipients.
Technical Data: We use Expo and Apple TestFlight to collect basic crash reports and device info to help us fix bugs during this testing phase.
3. How Your Data is Handled
Storage: Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure, industry-standard database.
Notifications: We use the Expo Push Notification service to alert you of new messages.
Security: We use Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure that only you and your intended recipients can access your private messages.
4. Your Control (Human Agency)
You are in the driver's seat. During this beta, if you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you can do so by contacting us at info@citizenzofearth.com or through the app settings. We will purge your data from our active databases immediately.
5. Ethical Transparency
Because this is a beta, we are still refining our systems. We promise to be transparent about any bugs that might affect data privacy and will notify you immediately if we discover any vulnerabilities.
6. Contact Us
If you have questions about our ethical framework or how your data is handled, reach out to us at info@citizenzofearth.com.
